Players who live within the catchment for North Langley Baseball and Aldergrove baseball must be registered for the spring season.

** Players that DO NOT live within our two associations (North Langley and Aldergrove) catchments will be required to have a “Try Out Release” completed and signed by their home association President. This needs to be completed PRIOR to the January 11th start.  Thank you to those who have already completed these. Please advise our President, Ray Clark that you have applied for one, and then forward him the signed document. Out of catchment players are not required to register with us until they are selected for a roster.

As with any other high Performance teams, there are additional costs. Any registration fee that is paid to your home association will not cover any Team Fee’s or Uniform Kits. As we approach the final Roster Selection phase, more details will be available about the amount you can expect. Prior to Covid, our Township teams have averaged an additional 1100.00 (travel not included)  on top of their associations registration.  This is a more accessible cost than other local clubs with similar programs.

Our teams will be lead by our Development Director Joe Germaine. Our Head Coach for the 15U AAA team is Russell Kennedy, and for our 18U AAA is Dan Chapman. We are currently still accepting applications for:

15U AA – Head and Assistant coach

15U AAA – Assistant Coach(s)

Registration for all of the clinics/tryouts will be available soon, and anyone who was registered with NLBB or AMBA in 2021 will receive an email. The info will also be posted on the two association sites as well as the Township Blue Sox website.

The goal for the Township program is to offer a High Performance program at accessible costs in comparison to similar clubs.

Please register with your home association to receive communications regarding try outs. This information will be emailed to registrants for the 2022 season and also made available on our websites.

Once a player has been selected for a team, there will be a team budget meeting which will discuss all team fees and player kit fees.

Over the past few years of this program, the average player costs is approximately 1200 – 1500 which is in addition to the registration fee paid to your home association. As well, any potential out of town travel will be an additional cost for players (hotel if required, ferry costs if required). In some instances, out of town games do not require an overnight stay.

As this is a high performance club, understanding the time commitment expected from players is important. We anticipate practicing and playing games 4-5 days per week. Games on weekends can be double headers.
